The History of Ashen Legacy

Ashen Legacy was formed in 2004. The Ashen sound as Power/Epic Metal with Progressive influences, and the band's songwriting and musical style reflects this. Ashen Legacy found it's sound fairly early, and has been refining it ever since.

The first couple of years were spent writing songs and auditioning musicians. Finding the right musicians that shared the band's musical vision proved to be a daunting task. Several guitarists, drummers and bassists auditioned for the band, but their musical goals did not coincide with the band's vision of the Ashen sound. During this period, the founding members did their best to keep the project intact, and stayed mostly focused on songwriting.

While several musicians have been involved with this project in the past, Gregg and TJ have been longtime members of Ashen Legacy.

Ashen Legacy is currently focusing on songwriting. The future for Ashen Legacy looks very bright, so stay tuned!!!
